What age does my child need to be to attend ANTS Montessori Preschool?
We enroll children in our school from ages 2years – 6 years.children aged 2 to 3 years are eligible for Pre-Nursery, children aged between 3 to 4 years are eligible for Nursery, children aged 4 to 5 years eligible for LKG and children aged 5 to 6 years are able to attend UKG.
What hours is your school open for children to attend?
Our school is open for children between the hours of 9:00 am to 1:30 pm.
Preschool Classroom: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Nursery : 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
LKG | UKG: 9:00 am – 1:30 pm.
Can I enroll my child at any time of year?
Yes! Providing we have a spot open for your child, you may begin your child’s enrollment at any time of the year, especially with lower classes! No need to wait until June
Do you offer after school extended childcare?
After-school childcare is available at the ANTS Montessori Preschool and aim to provide ‘extended family’ environment so as to help the children not miss their home. This facility is available from 8.30 am to 7.30 pm only.
Do you offer a lunch program for Aftercare?
Yes! ANTS Montessori Preschool offers catered lunch to children enrolled in our After-school care. The menus to choose from daily, includes, a vegetarian option, and an alternative snack option. Lunches will need to be pre-ordered on a monthly basis. A monthly menu will be available. Full day children may either order or bring a lunch from home (please note that we will able to refrigerate or microwave student lunches brought from home).
How is your school credentialed?
ANTS Montessori Preschool teachers are Internationally certified under International Montessori Teachers Training Institute (International Accredited Organisation) and all the course material used is internationally regulated Montessori equipment and materials.
Is your school child safe?
Yes, extra care has been taken to make the school environment child safe and also provide a child play area within the school campus for young children
What is the size of each classroom?
Our environment caters for provisioning extended family environment and hence ensures that child to adult ratio is maintained at 1:10. With each class room having maximum of 1 0 children and 1adult for each class
What will a typical school day look like for my child?
The student’s day typically includes but is not limited to:
- Individual shelf work time with our Montessori materials
- Individualized one-on-one time with one of our teachers
- Circle time (which includes introducing new shelf work, calendar, letter of the ALphabet, sound basket)
- Art project
- Play time (indoor or outdoor, depending on the weather)
- Snack (and lunch for full-day students)
- Nap time (for full-day preschool students)
- Story and songs
